Mobile diesel mechanic in
Palm Bay, Florida.

Palm Bay is home. X-Pert Fleet Solutions is based here, which means the shortest run we make all day is usually the one across town — to a contractor's yard off Malabar Road, a site in Bayside Lakes, or a truck that quit on Babcock Street with a load still on it.

Where We Work

Covering Palm Bay and everything around it.

We are a mobile operation — there is no shop for you to drive to, and no tow bill to pay. A service truck comes to your yard, your job site, or wherever the unit stopped. We cover the entire Space Coast, so if you are just outside the areas below, call anyway — it is almost certainly still our territory.

Palm Bay & Bayside Lakes

Our home territory — the shortest response times we run.

Malabar Road & Babcock Street

The commercial and contractor corridors through the middle of the city.

Palm Bay industrial parks

Service, landscaping, and construction fleets yarded around the city's industrial areas.

Malabar & Grant-Valkaria

South Brevard coverage, including the smaller towns down US-1.

I-95 exits 173 & 176

Roadside diesel response on the interstate at the south end of the county.

Southeast Palm Bay & the port area

Down to the county line, including waterfront and utility operations.

Questions

Mobile diesel service in Palm Bay — answered.

Are you actually based in Palm Bay?

Yes. X-Pert Fleet Solutions LLC is a Palm Bay business, registered in Florida since 2022. Palm Bay is the closest work we do, and it gets the quickest turnaround in our whole service area.

We are a mobile operation, so there is no storefront to visit — the service truck comes to you.

What does a mobile diesel mechanic cost in Palm Bay?

Diagnostic and repair work is quoted per job after we see the unit, and you get that quote in writing before anything is repaired. Coming to you does not carry a separate trip charge during normal scheduled hours.

After-hours emergency call-outs carry a $250 emergency fee. For the common factory failures we fix, pricing is published up front — for example $500 installed for a 68RFE cooler bypass and $1,950 installed for the 6.7 Cummins grid heater elimination. See the Known Failures pages for the full list.

Can you service equipment on an active job site?

Yes — that is most of what we do. Excavators, skid steers, loaders, backhoes, forklifts, lifts, generators, and air compressors get repaired where they sit, including full hydraulic service: leak diagnosis, hose replacement, cylinder repair and resealing, and pump or valve replacement.

Machines do not earn anything on a lowboy headed to a shop, so we bring the repair to the machine.

What are your hours, and do you take emergency call-outs in Palm Bay?

We are open Monday to Thursday 8am–4pm and Friday 10am–4pm, with weekends by appointment. We are not a 24-hour emergency service, but Palm Bay is our home city, so a down vehicle here gets the fastest turnaround we can manage. Call (321) 312-7430 and we will give you a straight answer on timing.

When we are able to take a call-out outside normal hours, a $250 emergency fee applies. If the truck is drivable and it can wait until morning, we will say so — that usually saves you the fee.

Do you keep records I can use for DOT or resale?

Every repair, PM, and inspection is documented per unit: what was found, what was performed, and what we recommend next. That file is what you hand an auditor, an insurer, or a buyer.

For fleets, this is usually the reason accounts stay with us — one provider who knows the history of every truck.

What should I do if I just put DEF in my diesel tank?

Stop, and do not start the engine. Running it circulates the DEF through the high-pressure fuel system and turns a contained problem into a full fuel system replacement.

Call us and leave it alone. The repair is the same contamination kit used after a CP4 failure, and on an LML Duramax you come out of it with a CP3 conversion — see the LML CP3 conversion page for what that involves.
